After obtaining his master degree in cognitive science at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris Dorian completed a Ph.D in the field of Brain-Machine Interfaces (BMIs) at the Paris-Saclay Neuroscience Institute (NeuroPSI).
He has a background in electrophysiology, optogenetics and closed-loop systems applied to motor control. His expertise concerns the physiology of the sensorimotor system as well as the plastic processes involved during motor learning.
In the lab he is now researching the neural correlates of metacognition in the context of perceptual decision-making using invasive electro-encephalography.
