Nicholas holds a master’s degree in philosophy of cognition from Université Grenoble Alpes, where his work focused on memory, mental representation, and aphantasia as part of the Centre for Philosophy of Memory (CPM).

Following an internship at the LPNC studying the relationship between aphantasia and metacognition, he joins the Volta Project as a design engineer investigating the neural basis of consciousness and metacognition, splitting his time between the CoMMet team in Grenoble and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
